List Views

All attributes of List Views are editable by the Subscriber.

When the ISV makes changes to a List View (adding, moving, or deleting fields; adding or deleting buttons), these changes will not be delivered to subscribers via package upgrade.

What’s Updated by ZuppIO​

✔ All managed List Views are copied as-is from Source to Target org,
except for the sharedTo field, as this field cannot be overwritten via API.

However, some components are excluded automatically if they cannot be copied:

  • Managed Custom Fields that do not exist in the Target org (columns and filters sections).

What’s Ignored by ZuppIO​

ZuppIO does not update:

  • Managed List Views that do not exist in the Target org.
  • Managed List Views that reference Custom Objects missing in the Target org.
