Getting Started with ZuppIO

Overview

This section provides a step-by-step guide on how to start using ZuppIO, including:

  • Navigating through key ZuppIO tabs.
  • Authorizing organizations.
  • Creating and configuring jobs.

ZuppIO Navigator

ZuppIO consists of three main tabs:

  1. ZuppIO Home tab
    Contains functionality documentation and activity statistics.

  2. ZuppIO Organizations tab
    Allows you to authorize new organizations and manage existing ones.

  3. ZuppIO Jobs tab
    Used for running metadata deployments and executing anonymous Apex.


Step 1: Authorize Customer Organizations

  1. Navigate to the ZuppIO Organizations tab.
  2. Press the Authorization button.
  3. Choose the organization type.
  4. Enter your credentials.

Step 2: Create Your First Job

  1. Go to the ZuppIO Jobs tab.
  2. Press the New button and follow the New Job wizard:
    • Name your job and optionally add a description.
    • Add a Source organization and choose one of the installed managed packages.
    • Confirm your choice.

Step 3: Configure and Execute Your Job

  1. Open your newly created job.
  2. Add at least one Target org (you can manage this list later).
  3. Add at least one step (you can manage this list later).
  4. Choose the step(s) and Target org(s).
  5. Press Validation to validate your job.
  6. Press Execute to deploy changes from Source to Target org(s).
